Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta, Queensland is the gateway to Australia for Asia's popular budget airlines. Bremner visual has had a long association with Gold Coast Airport from the Qantas/Ansett days through to now where it is the fifth largest airport in Australia servicing 8 airlines. During a reconstruction phase in 2010 Gold Coast Airport commissioned Bremner Visual to construct a landmark sign for their Gold Coast Highway entrance. The sign was constructed in 4 individual upright plinths all 9 metre high with the main plinth utilising 3D fabricated acrylic lettering illuminated with neon. The 3 narrow plinths are edge lit with concealed neon. Bremner Visual won a Silver Award at the ASGA industry awards in 2010. Bremner Visual's involvement in this project included local Authority compliance, engineering design, steel fabrication and galvanising, 2 pack cladding, 3D, neon and installation.
